Three Coastal Georgia Counties to Launch Broadband

Coastal Electric Cooperative is planning to invest $40 million with a new broadband provider to serve 16,000 homes and businesses in Georgia’s Liberty County, Bryan County and Long County. The project is expected to be completed in four years.

Coastal Electric Earns OSHA SHARP Certification

Coastal Electric Cooperative has become the first coop in Georgia, and the second coop nationally, to earn the Safety & Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
