City of Socorro, Socorro Electric Cooperative, Inc., and Nuvve New Mexico Unite to Drive Electrification and Grid Resilience
The City of Socorro, Socorro Electric Cooperative, and Nuvve New Mexico signed a Memorandum of Understanding to accelerate transportation electrification, modernize local electric infrastructure, and enhance grid resilience in the Socorro region. The agreement outlines collaboration on six priority areas, including grid modernization, school bus and municipal fleet electrification, charging infrastructure expansion, and renewable energy integration, aimed at building a cleaner and more resilient energy system.
