Employees of Trico Electric Cooperative are the first Arizona participants in the Light Up Navajo program to provide electricity to members of the Navajo Nation in Chile, Arizona.

Trico Electric Cooperative Plans Deployment of Third Battery Storage Project

Trico Electric Cooperative (Trico), headquartered in Marana, Arizona, has plans to deploy a 10-megawatt battery system by the end of this year. This is Trico’s third battery storage project and will save members money by permitting Trico to sell energy into the wholesale market during non-peak months.

Arizona Cooperative Plans Investments to Meet Growing Need

Arizona’s Trico Electric Cooperative is investing in connecting more than 4,100 new services to its distribution system and upgrading 49 miles of power lines. These investments will allow Trico to meet the needs of the growing Tucson metropolitan area while continuing to serve members taking more control of how they use energy.

Coops Across America Donate School Supplies

Many coops across the country are assisting their local schools as the new year starts amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Peace River Electric Cooperative, Ozarks Electric Cooperative, Southside Electric Cooperative, Trico Electric Cooperative and Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative were among many coops to donate supplies to schools across the country.
