Two Alaska communities north of the Arctic Circle are benefiting from a new solar installation owned by a local tribal government that is selling the power back to the Alaska Village Electric Cooperative. The Navajo Nation has allocated $44 million in CARES Act funds to provide power line extensions. So far, 24 projects have been completed, connecting 737 families.
