More Wind Expected in Alaska

Alaskan electric coop Kodiak Electric Association is accepting contractor bids to double the size of its current 4.5-MW wind farm. The expansion, when coupled with a nearby hydropower plant, will help Kodiak attain its renewable energy goal of 95 percent renewables by 2020. Two Illinois Coops Announce Merger
