Dairyland Power Cooperative is seeking approval from Wisconsin Public Service Commission to build a jointly owned natural gas power plant in Superior, Wisconsin. If approved, the 625 MW plant would go online in late 2024.

Dairyland to Install Three New Solar Gardens

Dairyland Power Cooperative (Dairyland) announced plans for three new solar power garden installations to begin construction later this year. Dairyland signed power purchase agreements with SoCore Energy of Chicago to build the solar gardens, which will be located in Iowa, Minnesota and Illinois.

Dairyland to Purchase Power from New Wind Farm

Dairyland Power Cooperative is partnering with another utility, Minnesota Power, to build a $700 million 550-megawatt natural gas power plant in Superior, Wisconsin. If approved by regulators, construction on the plant will commence in 2020 and plant operation is anticipated to be achieved by 2025.
